Fire Rescue News - One man injured after being hit by a Fire Hydrant SOMERS POINT--One person died and two others were seriously injured after a car crashed into a popular Somers Point bar. Sources close to the investigation say it's believed alcohol was involved.

BELLEPLAIN -- The winter season is notorious for residential fires, and Wednesday night another South Jersey family was forced from their home after fire damaged it.

Fire Rescue News - One dead after SUV and trash truck crash in NJGALLOWAY TWP., N.J. - January 5, 2011 (WPVI) -- One person is dead after a crash involving a trash truck and an SUV in Galloway Township, New Jersey. The crash happened just after 8:00 a.m. Wednesday at the White Horse Pike and Balboa Avenue. Preliminary reports say the trash truck was pulling out of a motel to go west on the White Horse Pike when it was hit by the SUV travelling east. The driver of the SUV, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are now investigating. 
Fire Rescue News - Fire destroys Egg Harbor Township mobile home, kills dogs
Firefighters were called to the home on Johns Road in the complex at about 8:46 p.m., and arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the residence. Three fire companies — Cardiff, Farmington and Northfield — responded to battle the flames. The Egg Harbor Township ambulance squad and fire police also responded. Homeowner Kim Johnson, pacing outside her home, said she and her daughter went out.....Continue Reading Call Recording
