Incident #71: Transformer Fire

Incidents 2007

Transformer Fire at the Elwood Road Railroad Tracks on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. The Elwood Fire Company responded and assisted police in shutting down a portion of Elwood road until the electric company arrived and cut the power. Some homes were with out power for about 2hrs.

Incident#68: Roll Over

Incidents 2007On 8-20-2007 at 9:55 am A Vehicle was traveling Southbound on Pleasantmills road when a deer ran out of the woods and struck his vehicle. The driver lost control of his vehicle and rolled over. Rescue 16-4 responded and used the jaws to remove the driver from the vehicle.

MVA on Route 30

Incidents 2007
There was a motor vehicle accident on Route 30 at mile marker 33 near the old State Police Barracks on 8/12/07 at 8:42am. The vehicle hit a telephone pole and a tree. There were two victims and one of them was trasported by helicopter. Tanker 16-5 landed the helicopter.
