E-163 & Support 161 responded with full crews. No Fire found - Neighbor Dispute. 1600 remained on location until police arrived. All Station 160 units were clear at 8:47pm.

Fire Rescue News - Mullica Township woman injured when she was hit by a car in the Elwood section

An 18-year-old woman was injured Thursday evening in Mullica Township when she was hit by a car.

Police said in a news release that Veronica Rivera, 18, of Mullica Township, was trying to cross the White Horse Pike about 6 p.m. in the Elwood section of the township. She was struck by a car driven by Elizabeth McBride, 78, of South Hampton.

Rivera was conscious and alert when she was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. She was treated for unknown injuries and is in fair condition, hospital spokeswoman Jenna DeCicco said. Police said no summons has been issued, but the incident remains under investigation.

Fire Rescue News - FIRE DISPLACES FAMILY IN HAMILTON TWP.

HAMILTON TWP.--A Hamilton Township family is displaced after their home was destroyed by a fire Thursday night.

Officials say the fire was reported just after 8 p.m. at a home on the 6600 block of Bears Head Road. Crews found fire coming from all of the windows and the second floor. The family dog was in a cage near the garage and removed from the scene as a precaution.

While it only took 15 minutes to get the blaze under control, officials say they remained on scene until just after midnight. No one was home at the time of the fire and officials say it was started by unattended candles. Officials say the house is a total loss.

Fire Rescue News - BURLINGTON CO. ABANDONED HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE

BURLINGTON CO.-A fire destroyed an abandoned home just outside the Atlantic County border early Tuesday morning.

The blaze broke out on the 100 block of Bulltown Road shortly before 3:30 a.m. in Washington Township, Burlington County. Fire crews said the one-story home was almost completely burned down by the time they arrived on the scene. Several nearby power lines and utility poles were knocked down because of the fire.

No injuries were reported. Fire officials say the home has been abandoned for more than two weeks. There is no word on a cause of the fire at this time.

EVFC Incident #65 08/05/2011 at 7:56pm - 3138 Moss Mill Rd for an Illegal Burn

E163 & R162 responded to a report of a woods fire. On arrival at 7:56pm found a illegal burn. Extinguished with the assitance of Forest Fire C8 & C8A. All station 160 units were clear at 8:22pm
