EVFC Incident #85 12/08/2015 at 8:40pm - 317 Elwood Rd (The Homestead) for an Activated Fire Alarm

IncidentsAll 4 fire companies were dispatched to The Homestead for a fire alarm. 160 investigated and found someone smoking in the building other 3 fire companies were recalled by command and 160 was placed back in service at 8:56pm.

Atlantic County has called a meeting of local officials, including mayors, police and fire representatives and freeholders, to discuss issues around centralizing 911 dispatch in a $25 million building to be constructed at Stockton University.

The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday night at the Canale Training Center in Egg Harbor Township, said County Executive Dennis Levinson.

Some mayors have said they don't have enough information about how much the centralized dispatch will cost or save their taxpayers. The cost of the dispatch would be dropped from their municipal tax bills, but added to their.....Continue Reading

 An Atlantic County man heading to work at a Pennsylvania casino died Friday morning when his car struck the Atlantic City Expressway Toll Plaza in Hamilton Township and became engulfed in flames, police said.

Joseph Crawford, 39, of Egg Harbor City, was pronounced dead after the crash, State Police spokesman Lt. Brian Polite said.

Five firefighters were injured after an accident involving a fire truck in West Philadelphia.

The crash occurred around 10:10 a.m. Sunday at 55th Street and Baltimore Avenue.

EVFC Incident #82 11/12/2015 at 10:29am - Nesco Rd & Airport Rd (Nesco) for a MVA with entrapment

IncidentsCalled out for a MVA with entrapment. On arrival, found that victim had self-extricated. Stood-by until tow truck removed vehicle out of roadway. All station 160 units were clear at 11:13am.
