The Elwood Fire Company Responded to a possible structure fire at 4001 Reading Ave at 11:00pm Nov. 5th. On arrival Chief Anthony Tomasco found a fully involved 14 passenger van near a structure.

Engine 16-3 arrived with a crew of 6 and extinguished the fire without damage to the building. Tanker 16-5 with a crew of 4 supplied water & manpower.

The Elwood Fire Company responded to a landing zone assignment near Lawman's for an assault victim at Six Pack's Pub. Engine 16-3 landed the helicopter and assisted with the patient.

The Elwood Fire Company was called out for a Landing Zone Assignment near Lawmans on Rt 30 due to a Motorcycle vs dog accident. One man was air lifted to Cooper Hospital in Camden. Unfortunately the dog and pronounced dead at the scene.
