The incident was reported at about 9 a.m., and firefighters searched the building.

Hammonton police and firefighters rescued a bird Monday that was stuck in a tree at Hammonton Lake.

Fire Chief Dominic Digivannangelo climbed a tree to rescue the osprey, sometimes called a fish eagle, that was tangled in balloons and strings and stuck in the tree.

The bird was then turned over to a wildlife rescue organization.
