MULLICA TOWNSHIP - The township's governing body is creating a new position to streamline firefighting operations and cope with budget cuts, Mayor Michael St. Amour said.

MULLICA TOWNSHIP - Two teenagers were hurt Saturday morning when a pickup truck hit them as they rode bicycles on a hilly stretch of Columbia Road, police said.

One boy was suffered moderate head and chest injuries but was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus in Atlantic City, Mullica Detective Sgt. John Thompson said.
