An SUV struck Tilton Inn, a longtime Egg Harbor Township restaurant and bar, Monday morning.

The incident happened at 8:30 a.m., at the intersection of Hingston Avenue and Tilton Road. An SUV collided with a silver Lexus car, and somehow ended up wedged near the restaurant's front entrance.....Continue Reading

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP - An early morning fire - apparently caused by clothes left too close to a gas water heater - caused serious damage to three Sussex Place condominium units and kept six families from their homes Saturday afternoon.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. - A Hazmat team responded to a fiery crash along US 29 at Fairland Road. A gas line ruptured in the crash, resulting in a large fire. Route 29 northbound at Fairland Road is temporarily closed due to Fire Rescue activity. The Highway Administration has established detours for motorists and people traveling through the area are urged to use I-95, US 1 or MD 295 as alternate routes.

A deputy fire chief who supervised payroll for the Ocean City Fire Department was entitled to the overtime he claimed, a state judge said last week.

Administrative Court Judge W. Todd Miller on Thursday said Deputy Chief Mark McCulley made a mistake in claiming $7,100 in benefits under the Fair Labor Standard Act when he should have been paid $11,000 or more in straight overtime....Continue Reading
