Tree Leaning on wires, top of tree on fire. Notified dispatch of pole number and no ETA given on Electric Company. All station 160 units were clear no action taken.

Fire Rescue News- Early morning apartment fire damages two units

MAYS LANDING--Authorities say an early morning kitchen fire at an apartment complex resulted in the damage of two units, but luckily no one was injured.

Firefighters responded to the Cologne Gardens Apartment Complex at 6:00 Wednesday morning for a report of a fire. Officials say the residents were able to safely exit their home, and the adjacent apartments were evacuated by police on the scene.

Upon investigation, authorities say the fire originated in the kitchen, and does not appear suspicious. Officials say one adjacent unit sustained water damage as a result of the fire.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

Fire Rescue News- FAA employees briefly evacuated due to smell of smoke

EGG HARBOR TWP.--Officials say a building at the FAA Technical Center was evacuated due to the smell of smoke, but no fire was found.

Employees in building 300 were told to leave around 11:00 Wednesday morning, but we're only evacuated for about an hour, after fire fighters said the building was safe.

This scare comes just four months after a fire damaged the same building at the Tech Center.
