Firefighters battle morning car, house fire in EHT

EGG HARBOR TWP. - Firefighters were on the scene of a fire that started in a car and then apparently spread to a home Tuesday morning

It happened at a home on Fabian Avenue near the Egg Harbor Township-Pleasantville boarder just before 10 o'clock. Officials on scene say the fire seems to be accidental, but the cause remains under investigation.

The homeowner said the car first caught fire, which then ignited the side of the house.

EVFC Incident #11 02/09/2013 at 2:00am - Next to 2637 Greenbank Rd in Weekstown for a Reported Structure Fire

IncidentsCalled out as a possible structure fire. Patrol and Weekstown on location advised it is a vehicle fire 15ft from a structure. Weekstown extighuished fire. All other units were recalled.

EVFC Incident #10 02/07/2013 at 1:04am - Weymouth Rd .5 miles east of Reading Ave for a Wire Down

IncidentsUpon arrival found wire down setting fire to base of pole. Stood by until electric company removed hazard. Extinguished fire and returned to service.
