Faulty Alarm

Three people were injured Sunday when their boat caught fire at All Seasons Marina in the Marmora section of Upper Township. Firefighters and EMS teams were sent to the marina around 11:20 this morning. The 24 foot boat was tied to a fuel dock when it caught fire. The lines securing it to the dock burnt through and the boat had begun to drift towards other vessels when a tow boat managed to lasso it and pull it towards fire fighters. Six people were on the boat when it caught fire, three without injury. The other three people were taken to Shore Medical Center for minor injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation by New Jersey State Marine Police.

Found two pull stations pulled, alarm activated upon arrival. Reset pull station, however, could not reset full alarm. Requested dispatch to contact Mr. Bernato to come down and take care of this matter as soon as possible. All units were recalled by 1600 on location.
