EVFC Incident #116 11/03/2016 at 11:36am - 901 Darmstadt Ave for a Smoke Investigation

IncidentsStation 160 was dispatched to Darmstadt ave and Duerer St to investigate the sighting of smoke. Upon arrival, 1600A identified the source of smoke. A residence at 901 Darmstadt ave was cutting scrap metal with a torch and accidentally started a small fire. Forest fire on location extinguished the fire. No further action was taken. All units cleared without incident.

IncidentsCalled out for an activated fire alarm, 2nd floor smoke detector. Checked entire building, no smoke found. Reset alarm. All units cleared at 6:53pm

IncidentsArrived on scene in Hamilton township, driver was out of vehicle with no injuries. Stayed on scene and directed traffic until Hamilton FD arrived.

IncidentsReceived a call for an overturned vehicle into a pole and smoking. Secured the scene and gave the pole number to dispatch. U the battery cables on the vehicle. No extrication needed

IncidentsCalled in by a neighbor smelling odor of gasoline, possible source is junkyard in back, nothing found. All station 160 units were clear at 8:28pm
