EVFC Incident #19 02/16/2025 at 5:18am - 8 Cardinal Drive in Elwood for an Odor of Gas

IncidentsReceived a call for a gas leak. Upon arriving on scene, there was a heavy skunk smell in close proximity of the house. Arriving units utilized gas meters and searched the house for leaks. No leaks were detected and all units cleared the scene.

IncidentsSystem was in alarm, found nothing obvious that set it off. Reset system and it cleared.

EVFC Incident #16 02/05/2025 at 4:35pm - White Horse Pike and Wharton Park Blvd in Elwood for a motor vehicle accident

IncidentsCalled for a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of White Horse Pike and Wharton Park Blvd. Cleared debris out of the roadway. Assisted PD with traffic until tow truck removed the vehicle from the roadway.

EVFC Incident #15 02/03/2025 at 6:38pm - Rt 30 west of snow hill in Elwood for an MVA with vehicle smoking

IncidentsCalled for MVA with vehicle smoking. Vehicle into pole and into woods. Arrived and found smoke was mostly steam, cut battery cables and stood by until electric company arrived

EVFC Incident #14 02/01/2025 at 11:31am - 439 Burdick Ave in Elwood for an MVA Rollover

IncidentsReceived a call for an MVA. Arrived on scene and the patient self extricated. Roll over with pole down and wires on vehicle. Provided traffic support and held the scene until Atlantic City Electric arrived on location. De-energized the vehicle and turned the scene over to PD. The vehicle could not be removed until Verizon arrived on location.
