EVFC Incident #104 09/12/2018 at 7:45pm - 5th Ave and Moss Mill in Elwood for a Natural Gas Leak

IncidentsFound a strong odor of gas upon arrival. odor dissipated after a couple minutes. Unable to locate source, waited for gas company arrival. Relieved by gas company. All units were clear at 8:24pm

IncidentsCalled for an illegal burn. Chief 1600 arrived and found homeowner has a permit to burn. No action taken. All units cleared at 7:30pm

IncidentsCalled for an activated fire alarm. Upon investigation water activated the head due to roof leak. All units cleared without incident at 12:33pm

EVFC Incident #101 09/05/2018 at 9:31am - 423 Elm Street in Elwood for a Gas Leak

IncidentsReceived a call for a gas leak. Crews were out digging and encountered a strange odor and notified South Jersey Gas. South Jersey Gas arrived on location and determined that no leaks were present and it was safe to clear the scene.

IncidentsCalled for a CO alarm. Checked building and appliances with two CO detectors. No CO readings. Gas appliances are functioning normally. Homeowner's CO alarm is out of date. Advised homeowner to replace alarm.

EVFC Incident #98 08/31/2018 at 8:11pm - 600 Heidelberg Ave in Elwood for an Activated Fire Alarm

IncidentsCalled for an activated fire alarm. 1602 arrived on location and found smoke detector was not in alarm but giving a low battery beep. Replaced battery. All units cleared at 8:25pm
