Received a call for an activated fire alarm. The alarm company called back dispatch confirming a false alarm. 1638 arrived on scene and physically confirmed the false alarm and cleared the scene.

Called for a transformer fire. Command found tree on wires and breaker blown. No hazard at this time. Gave pole number to dispatch. Dispatch notified electric company. Electric company could not provide an ETA.

The homeowner was complaining about headaches. The C/O detector did not go off. Used C/O meters from both Elwood & Egg Harbor City - no reads Operated the water heater & heater - no reads. All units were clear at 8:57am.

A firefighter was heading to the Elwood firehouse for a Township Department Drill and noticed a fake Christmas tree on fire. Car 1600 and Tanker 16-5 responded. Homeowner had dowsed the fake tree with diesel fuel and lit it on fire. Had homeowner extinguish the fire.

Received a call for a MVA with Entrapment. The victim was dead on arrival. Waited for the medical examiner to arrive and extricated the victim from the vehicle.
