EVFC Incident #81 07/29/2023 at 6:36pm - 3417 S White Horse Pike in Elwood for an Activated Commercial Fire Alarm Called for an activated fire alarm at The Bus Stop Night Club, multiple points of activation. On arrival, found the roof is in the process of being replaced. A storm rolled through and caused a lot of water damage inside the building including detectors and pull stations. Notified construction official, he arrived on location and turned scene over him.
EVFC Incident #80 07/28/2023 at 2:50pm - 5050 White Horse in Elwood for a Vehicle FireReceived a call for a vehicle fire. 1603 arrived on and scene determined there was no fire, just an overheated vehicle. Recalled all units.
EVFC Incident #79 07/23/2023 at 9:31am - 2780 7th Ave in Sweetwater for an Activated Fire AlarmReceived call of an Activated Fire Alarm. Command arrived and confirmed a false alarm. Command recalled all units.
EVFC Incident #78 07/21/2023 at 9:03pm - 500 Elwood Rd in Elwood for a landing zone assignmentReceived a call for a landing zone assignment at the Mullica School. Tender 16-5 went to the school for the landing zone and was recalled. Rescue 16-2 went to the accident scene and provided lighting for the Police.
EVFC Incident #77 07/16/2023 at 5:51pm - 916 Heidelberg Ave in Elwood for a Tree on FireReceived a call for a tree on Fire. Arrived on scene and determined the scene was safe. Tree is no longer on the electrical wires. Notified Electric Company.
