Incident #104 12/31/2009 at 12:35pm - 439 Clark Dr. for a Lift Assist

Incidents

Engine 16-3 responded with a full crew. On arrival at 12:40pm the crew assisted Hammonton Rescue with removing a patiant from the home. All Elwood units were clear at 1:00pm.

Engine 16-3 responded with a full crew. On arrival at 10:38am found a vehicle on its side. All occupants were out of the vehicle and no fluids were leaking. The crew stood by until the vehicle was removed. All units were clear at 11:02am.

ATLANTIC CITY — Two people were displaced in a two-alarm fire that broke out late Monday night on Georgia Avenue, officials said.

Fire/Rescue News - Vineland shed fire leaves no injuries

Firefighters in Vineland put out a small fire Monday morning.

The fire started at 1:45 a.m., inside a shed located in the 3500 block of Magnolia Road, and was extinguished soon after.

No one was injured, and no structural damage was reported.

Incident #102 12/27/2009 at 3:23am - 4835 White Horse Pike for smoke in the dwelling

Incidents

On arrival crews found 12" of water in the basement where the heater & water heater were. The crews pumped it out with a gas pump. The smoke was coming from the heater's blower motor. The crews turned off gas at meter & the electric at the panel. The crews check the whole house with the thermal camera. Advised owner to contact HVAC & Electric tech before use. All units were clear at 5:25am.

The Mizpah Fire Company (18-2) was called  along with Weymouth Fire Company (18-4) to a working structure fire at 10:35am on Dec 24th at 3458 Dehirsch ave. The Mayslanding Fire Company (18-1) was also called to respond with a tanker and ladder. The fire started at the heater in the basement.

A fire was reported in the Mizpah section of Hamilton Township -- down the road from the community's fire department.

The fire, happening in the 6400 block of DeHirsh Avenue near Sewell Avenue.

Hamilton Township police dispatchers confirmed the fire, but little is known about when it started, or what type of building is involved.

The Mizpah Volunteer Fire Department was not available for comment.
