EVFC Incident #51 06/02/2023 at 3:14pm - 1000 Soccer Ln in Elwood for a landing zone assignment

IncidentsCalled for a landing zone assignment at 1000 Soccer Ln due to a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at Elwood Rd and Pleasant Mills Rd. After helicopter landed, dispatch advised that the helicopter was recalled by EMS. Helicopter took off at all units were clear.

EVFC Incident #50 05/27/2023 at 10:45am - 4001 Reading Ave in Elwood for a Cooking Fire

IncidentsCalled for the report of an activated fire alarm. On arrival found a pot on the stove unattended. Removed the pot from the stove & used electric fan to ventilate the building. Reset the alarm system. All units were clear at 11:07am.

EVFC Incident #49 05/22/2023 at 11:55am - 5521 White Horse Pike in Elwood for an Activated Fire Alarm

IncidentsReceived a call for an activated fire alarm. The alarm company called back dispatch confirming a false alarm. 1638 arrived on scene and physically confirmed the false alarm and cleared the scene.

EVFC Incident #48 05/20/2023 at 10:57pm - 601 Darmstadt Ave in Elwood for a transformer fire

IncidentsCalled for a transformer fire. Command found tree on wires and breaker blown. No hazard at this time. Gave pole number to dispatch. Dispatch notified electric company. Electric company could not provide an ETA.
