Let us know the date and approximate time and we will post it. cbrining@evfc160.com Incident #117 12/14/2008 - 5217 Pleasant Mills Rd in Sweetwater for a Structure Fire The Elwood Fire Company along with Nesco, Weekstown, Sweetwater, Hammonton and Galloway responded to 5217 Pleasant Mills Rd in Sweetwater for a Structure Fire at 12:30am on Dec. 14th, 2008. Hammonton Rescue transported one person to Kessler Hospital for minor burns The fire was under control at 2:52am. Some crews remained on scene until 4:45am overhauling.

The Elwood Fire Company participated in the 11th Annual Hammonton Fire Department's Christmas Parade on Dec. 13 in downtown Hammonton. Dozens of fire and emergency apparatus, specially decorated for the holidays, paraded through the downtown streets before continuing to the Hammonton Fire Station No. 1 on Line Street for a post-parade block party. We are putting together a Christmas gift package for him and the men and women in his unit. We are purchasing small personal gifts and phone cards so they can call family and friends during the holidays. If you would like to be a part of this we would add your name to the card we would send with the package. Or you can fill out your own card and send it to us with your gift.
