Incident #21 04/01/2009 at 3:50pm - 3838 White Horse Pike for an MAV Stand By & Landing Zone Assignment

Incidents
The Elwood Fire Company was called to 3838 White Horse Pike for a pedestrian Motor Vehicle Accident at 3:50pm on Wednesday April 1st. Tanker 16-5 and Support 16-1 assisted with traffic while Engine 16-3 Landed the Helicopter at the Mullica Twp School. One person was transported by helicopter to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. All units were clear at 5:10pm.

Report Recommends Hamilton Merge Five Fire Companies

  HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Local officials are reviewing a study that recommends merging all five of the township's volunteer fire companies into one department to better streamline operations.

Structure Fire in Mays Landing

Mays Landing's Station 18-1 responded to an activated fire alarm at 5303 Harding Hwy the Sandpiper Condos at 11:52pm on March 23rd 2009. Patrol on location found smoke showing.  Cologne's Station 18-5 was dispatched as well at 11:56pm. Patrol then advised of a working fire in apartment 408. A FAST team was called from Laureldale's Station 18-3 at 12:00am.
