Thursday, June 11 2026 @ 12:48 am EDT Incident #21 04/01/2009 at 3:50pm - 3838 White Horse Pike for an MAV Stand By & Landing Zone Assignment
The Elwood Fire Company was called to 3838 White Horse Pike for a pedestrian Motor Vehicle Accident at 3:50pm on Wednesday April 1st. Tanker 16-5 and Support 16-1 assisted with traffic while Engine 16-3 Landed the Helicopter at the Mullica Twp School. One person was transported by helicopter to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. All units were clear at 5:10pm.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Local officials are reviewing a study that recommends merging all five of the township's volunteer fire companies into one department to better streamline operations.
While each of the volunteer fire departments - Cologne, Laureldale, Mizpah, Mays Landing and Weymouth - would remain separate entities, there would be one fire chief and more standard procedures for things such as training and buying equipment....Continue Reading Structure Fire in Mays LandingMays Landing's Station 18-1 responded to an activated fire alarm at 5303 Harding Hwy the Sandpiper Condos at 11:52pm on March 23rd 2009. Patrol on location found smoke showing. Cologne's Station 18-5 was dispatched as well at 11:56pm. Patrol then advised of a working fire in apartment 408.
