Three Car MVA in Hammonton

EVFC Reports

Three car MVA accrued in Hammonton in front of the Howard Johnsons on Rt 30 at about 9:20pm on June 22nd 2012. Reports were that two people were trapped and had to be removed from the vehicle with the jaws of life. One vehicle was reported to be on fire with entrapment. Five people were critical and one minor. Helicopters could not fly due to weather. There was a thunder storm at the time and it was raining heavily. The Hammonton Fire Department responded with Rescue 9 and three other fire units.
The Elwood Fire Company was special called to assist with traffic at route 30 and Central ave. The Collings Lakes Fire Company covered Hammonton’s Fire station 1. No information was know about the status for the injured.

Small branch arching on wires no Electric lost. No danger. Advised homeowner if wire falls or anything dangerous happens to call us back. Called in pole# and cleared at 12:38am

Rescue 16-2 Responded and made the area safe. Notified the Electric Company. No arching. All units were cleared by 1600 at 5:55pm

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP — A series of explosions and fire led to the evacuation of 1,600 employees at the William J. Hughes Technical Center Friday as responders from multiple companies rushed to combat the blaze.

Video- Car Crashes Into Fire Truck

Videos

A van drives past a burning vehicle but slams into a huge, red fire truck in front of it. Firefighters had to check the passengers of the crashed vehicle in addition to attacking the fire. Happened somewhere in Europe.
