EVFC Incident #99 09/12/2016 at 9:51am - 313 Weymouth Elwood Rd for an Activated Fire Alarm

IncidentsAll Mullica units were dispatched to a residence for a activated fire alarm. Upon 1600A arrival, no fire was found. Alarm was tripped accidentally by workers on location. All units recalled with no further action.

EVFC Incident #98 09/09/2016 at 9:07pm - 901 Darmstadt ave for Smoke in the residence

IncidentsCalled for the smell of smoke in a residence. Found odor on second floor and in attic. Checked with thermal camera. While investigating, duct work in attic started smoking. Found electrical current on duct work. Removed duct work. Had electric company disconnect power. Advised landlord to have electrician inspect electrical system.

Atlantic City Fire Burned for Two Hours

ATLANTIC CITY — An off-duty city firefighter is being credited with helping evacuate residents Thursday morning when flames ripped through an apartment building above a grocery store in Chelsea.

The blaze at 4403 Ventnor Ave. was reported just before 9:30 a.m. More than 40 firefighters battled flames and the 90-degree heat and humidty of the day, rotating in shifts to break for water, shade and sometimes oxygen.

Tax records indicate the building is owned by Alka and Bhavesh “Bob” Patel and is assessed at $445,700.

IncidentsE.V.F.C. was dispatched to Mullica Manor for a smell of smoke. Home owner was burning a log. Fire chief told home owner to put it out all units were recalled by fire chief.
