Dog rescued from icy pond in Mullica Township

Rescue crews pulled a dog to safety from an icy pond in South Jersey.

Quincy the German shepherd fell through the ice along the 4100 block of Jackson Road in Mullica Township on Wednesday.

Cold water units from Mullica Township and Sweetwater fire departments sent a boat out on the frozen water.

Quincy was able to walk away unharmed.

IncidentsReceived a call for smoke in the residence. 1600A arrived on scene, investigated and found that it was dust on a hot heater that was causing the smell. 1600a determined all was safe cleared the scene.
