EVFC Incident #69 10/05/2014 at 8:02pm - 5162 White Horse Pike for a Natural Gas Leak

IncidentsReceived a report of a gas leak. Found a leak in the pipe above the regulator. Shut gas off at the main valve before the regulator.

EVFC Incident #68 10/04/2014 at 10:23am - 4841 Reading Ave for Arching Wires

IncidentsStation 160 was dispatched to 4841 Reading ave for arching wires. Upon arrival, the top of the utility pole was on fire. Engine 16-3 with the assistance from police redirected traffic around hazardous area and waited for AC electric company arrival. Electric company arrived on location, shut off power to 4846 Reading ave, and extinguished the fire with a water can. Station 160 cleared scene without incident. Electric company remained on location to repair pole.

IncidentsBurglar alarm was activated. It was not a fire alarm. All units were recalled.

IncidentsOne car MVA with roll over. Asst EMS with victim. Stood b y until vehicle was removed. Cut battery cables. All Station 160 units were clear at 5:47pm

EVFC Incident #65 09/06/2014 at 6:06pm - 5942 Duerer St for a Smoke investigation

IncidentsCalled to the report of smoke in the area. Found a legally permitted burn at 1120 Hamburg ave. All units were recalled by 1603 on location. All station 160 units were back in service at 18:16.

EVFC Incident #64 08/30/2014 at 7:14pm - 345 Locust St for an Oven Fire

IncidentsHome owner advised us smoke was coming out of her stove and that it was not on. upon arrival there was no fire and she had the stove unplugged and the gas shut off at the main. we ventilated the house for a lite smoke condition.After ventilation went through house with CO detector with a reading of 15 we advised dispatch via phone and homeowner to notify gas company and that they should leave the premises until gas company arrives. All units were clear at 20:03.
