Station 160 was dispatched to 4841 Reading ave for arching wires. Upon arrival, the top of the utility pole was on fire. Engine 16-3 with the assistance from police redirected traffic around hazardous area and waited for AC electric company arrival. Electric company arrived on location, shut off power to 4846 Reading ave, and extinguished the fire with a water can. Station 160 cleared scene without incident. Electric company remained on location to repair pole.Comments (0)
