Fire-Rescue News- Emergency crews respond to Garden State Parkway accident

Police and fire personnel are responding to a car crash on the southbound side of the Garden State Parkway.

Two people were in the car that veered into the wooded area adjacent to the highway shortly before 12:40 p.m., State Police said. The accident happened in Egg Harbor Township, near mile marker 37.

Authorities expected to have more information about the accident within the hour.

Fire-Rescue News- 8 SENT TO HOSPITAL IN A.C. EXPRESSWAY ACCIDENT

PLEASANTVILLE--Several people were injured in an accident on the Atlantic City Expressway Monday afternoon.

Police say around 4 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the Expressway near mile marker 5.9, a motorcyclist lost control and was thrown from the bike.

A car following the motorcyclist braked to avoid hitting him and another car ran into the back of that vehicle.

Police say all eight people involved in the accident were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Fire-Rescue News- Blazing Car Fire Shuts Down Route 47 in Dennis Township

 DENNIS TOWNSHIP-- A fully involved car fire shut down a section of Route 47 at around 2:45 p.m., on Saturday, April 17.

The Belleplain Fire Department responded to the scene at 169 Route 47 to contain the blaze.

Belleplain Emergency Corps also responded; no injuries were reported.

One driver was hospitalized after late-night, four-car accident on Route 206 in Hammonton Sunday.

Hammonton Police Chief Frank Ingemi said the accident was reported before 11 p.m. - on a stretch of Route 206 located about six miles north of Route 30, near Chew Road in Wharton State Forest.
