Middle Township police arrested Carl Peterson, 54, on Monday. He is charged with aggravated arson and is being held at the Cape May Count Jail on $25,000 bail. Police responded to reports of several fires in the woods behind the Acme shopping center on South Dennis Road in Cape May Court House, the most recent of which occurred early Monday morning.
