small boat overturned; the driver was able to escape from the truck. The driver of the second vehicle had to be extricated by members of the Ocean View Fire department.
South Star medevac was in initially dispatched then later recalled. The driver who was entrapped was transported to Cape Regional by Belleplain Emergency Corps and Medic 9.
The Middle Township police department also responded to the crash and assisted with traffic control.
The crash is under investigation by state police.
