Fire Rescue News - Pleasantville fire starts in home's basement, displaces family
Four people were forced from their East Edgewater Avenue home Saturday afternoon after a fire started in their basement. Firefighters from Pleasantville, Egg Harbor Township, Northfield and Absecon responded to the blaze at about 3:45 p.m. and had it under control about a half hour later, the Pleasantville Fire Department said. The Red Cross is taking care of the family while authorities investigate the incident, firefighters said. No people or animals were injured.

Fire Rescue News - Vineland house fire remains under investigation
Fire officials are continuing to investigate a Wednesday morning fire that destroyed a Vineland home. The fire was reported before 7 a.m., inside a home in the 800 block of East Grape Street. No one was injured, but the two-story home was destroyed.
