ATLANTIC CITY-- Amateur video caught it all on tape. It was the blaze that erupted on North Georgia Avenue in Atlantic City early Wednesday evening. The two-alarm fire engulfed a three story building in a matter of minutes and had crews working to save another.

Fire broke out at about 1am Friday morning Feb 11th at the Tilton Terrace Mobile Home Park. Reports were that one lady was still in the trailer and a neighbor entered the structure to rescue the victim. He left the unit with burns. The Bargintown Fire company was also called into assist.

A pair of early-morning fires in western Atlantic County left eight dogs dead, two homes uninhabitable and fire crews scrambling.

The first fire started at about 7:30 a.m., in a home along the 1000 block of 12th Avenue in the Dorothy section of Weymouth Township.

Jersey City Fire Truck Stuck in Sinkhole: MyFoxNY.com

Thursday, February 3, 2011 A Jersey City fire truck got stuck in a sinkhole Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

Video from SkyFoxHD showed a truck from Ladder 8 with its  left rear tires fallen into a sinkhole at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Linden Avenue.

Crews taped off the intersection until the truck could be freed.

It was not immediately known if the truck was on an emergency call when it got stuck.

Something very similar happened about two years ago: on February 1, 2009, a Jersey City fire truck got stuck in a much larger sinkhole on Linden Avenue.
