Fire Rescue News- Crews investigate fire at Jersey Shore Pain Management in Egg Harbor Township

EGG HARBOR TWP. -- Fire crews are investigating the cause of a fire at Jersey Shore Pain Management on the 6300 block of the Black Horse Pike.

Fire crews responded to an activated fire alarm at the Shore Pain Management building on the 6300 block of Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township Monday afternoon. The building was closed at the time of the activation and no one was inside. Upon arrival, fire fighters say there was no visible smoke or flames from the outside, but once inside, they detected the fire in one of the rooms by using thermal equipment.

The blaze was under control in less than an hour, but the inside of the building sustained heavy damage. No one was injured in the fire, which is still being investigated.

Fire Rescue News- Firefighters investigating overnight fire in Hamilton Township

LAURELDALE -- Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that happened overnight.

Crews responded at about three o'clock this morning to the 2400 block of Route 50 in the Laureldale section of Hamilton Township.

No one was injured in the fire but Route 50 was shut down for three hours while firefighters from the Laureldale, Cologne and Mays Landing Fire Departments fought the fire along with the Hamilton Township Rescue Team.

Officials say the family that lives in the house were safely out of the building when patrols arrived.

Fire Rescue News- Fire destroys house in Avalon

AVALON -- Firefighters are investigating what sparked a blaze that completely destroyed a one-story home in Avalon.

Initial calls for the fire were reported before 4:00 a.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of 21st Street.

An NBC 40 reporter on the scene says the firefighters had to cut into the roof to gain access to the home.

Nine people were inside at the time of the fire, and all nine managed to escape the house before firefighters arrived.

One person was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire.

OCEAN CITY- Kids of all ages gathered in Ocean City to finish up their week long training at the Ocean City Junior Firefighter Camp.

They aren't your everyday firefighter recruits but maybe some day, they will be. The Ocean City Firefighter Junior Camp is in it's 3rd year and wrapped up it's final day on Thursday, showing 29 kids the ropes of rappelling.

Fire Rescue News- Family displaced after Galloway fire

POMONA -- A family of six is displaced after a fire Thursday afternoon in Galloway.

It happened at 12:45 p.m. at a home on the 300 block of Elton Lane, in the Pomona section of the township.

Officials say someone was cooking on a grill inside the garage when the blaze started. The rood collapsed in the garage and the home suffered heavy damage.

Galloway, Pomona, Bayview and Germania Fire Companies all responded to the scene.
