IncidentsObserved motor vehicle accident while at station. rescue 16-2 responded and provided lighting on scene and deenergized one vehicle.

EVFC Incident #52 05/04/2025 at 6:00am - 500 Elwood Road in Elwood for an Activated Fire Alarm

IncidentsReceived a call for an activated fire alarm. 1600 and Tender/Tanker16-5 arrived on location and investigated. Found an activated smoke alarm outside of the Library. There were no signs of smoke or fire. Reset system.

EVFC Incident #51 04/28/2025 at 6:10am - 217 Jackson Rd in Atco for a Tender Task Force Assignment

IncidentsCalled for Tender Task Force Assignment. Arrived at staging and was given assignment. Setup draft site at the lake on Cooper Rd and supplied 5" hose line to fire scene. Several hours later, transitioned to shuttling water with tankers. Dumped 3 loads. Cleared by county coordinator.

IncidentsCalled for MVA with extrication. Car down river bank and on floating dock. occupants were out upon arrival. used lights to light scene for tow companies.

EVFC Incident #48 4/27/2025 at 9:46am - 2657 Route 50 (Laureldale Fire House) in for a cover-up assignment

IncidentsCalled for a cover-up assignment at Station 18-3 Laureldale, while they were at a structure fire at 4873 Bala Court. Stood by until released by command. No other calls received.

EVFC Incident #47 4/22/2025 at 3:32pm - 200 Volunteer Way in for Tender Task Force Assignment

IncidentsTender was requested for a Forest Fire in Ocean County. Arrived at staging area. First assignment was filling fire trucks but was soon deployed to 703 Old Shore Rd (Lacey Self Storage) for structure protection. Extinguished spot fires along the fence line. Redeployed to 702 Challenger Way (Ignite Gymnastics). Extinguished spot fires around the property, cut lock on a storage container and extinguished fire inside the container, laddered roof and checked roof. Redeployed to a commercial structure fire on South Branch Rd in the area of the power plant. Found abandoned building with the number 5 on it that fire on the bravo side of the building. Extinguished fire and checked for extension. Redeployed to the Garden State Parkway to supply water to trucks extinguishing spot fires in the median between Mile Markers 69 and 74. Returned to staging area and were released by Incident Command.
