EVFC Incident #12 03/04/2012 at 5:42pm - 3762 Nesco Rd in Nesco for an MVA with Extrication

Incidents

16-2 & 16-3 responded to scene to provide extriction. Tanker 16-5 responded to Columbia & Nesco Rd for traffic assignment. E16-3 stayed on scene to asstist with lighting waiting for ME.

Resident was smoking in his room causing the Fire Alarm to go off. Chief & Asst Chief on scene recalled Nesco & Elwood.  All units were clear at 9:21am

Station 162 was recalled by 1601 on location. Engine 16-3 responded and used a fan to clear smoke from burnt rolls in the oven. All station 160 units were claer at 6:18am

Fire Rescue News- Mays Landing Fire Department receives new rescue boat

 MAYS LANDING — Firefighters and community members underwent boat safety training Sunday as the Mays Landing Fire Department prepares to outfit a new rescue boat.

Chief Dave Connelly said his volunteers needed to obtain certification before operating the 18-foot-long former police patrol boat, which was acquired from Hamilton Township last May.

“I can’t use it until I get enough people certified and the boat’s equipped,” he said.
