EVFC Incident #24 04/07/2014 at 9:16pm - 4512 Absecon Road Elwood NJ, 08215 for a Vehicle Fire

IncidentsReceived a report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, the car was still glowing. Remained on scene until the cause was confirmed.

EVFC Incident #23 04/04/2014 at 2:25pm - 435 Burdick Ave for a Structure Fire

IncidentsReport of a structure fire. Arrived at the residence and smoke was showing from the rear of the building at the eve of the roof. Made entrance to the building and made way to the bathroom. Access was made to the roof from inside via a craw space and the fire was contained to that area. Ventilation cuts were made to assist in extinguishing the fire and the back part of the wall in the bathroom, at the ceiling was opened to look for extension. After viewing the extent of the fire spread, it was determined that the fire was totally extinguished.

EVFC Incident #22 03/31/2014 at 6:15pm - White Horse Pike & 9th Ave for an MVA Roll Over

IncidentsSingle car left the road, hit a pole, and overturned. One person was in the vehicle and self-extricated. Assisted EMS and assisted police with traffic. Atlantic City Electric made downed wires safe.

EVFC Incident #21 03/27/2014 at 9:16pm - 1630 7th Ave in Weekstown for a Structure Fire

IncidentsCalled out for a reported Structure Fire. On arrival, found rear building fully involved. Flames were through the roof catching trees on fire. Brush surrounding building also on fire. Engine 16-3 was first truck in and started protecting exposures and extinguishing brush and structure. Forest Fire Service assisted with extinguishing brush and also used bulldozer to assist with overhaul. Cologne Fire Dept covered up Elwood station.
