Pleasantville house fire displaces family of six Posted on The Press of Atlantic City: Saturday, January 17, 2015 5:38 pm A house fire in Pleasantville displaced a family of six Saturday afternoon. No one was injured in the blaze at the two-story home on the 700 block of North Main Street, fire officials said. As of 5:30 p.m., the intersection of North Main and Walnut Avenue was closed to traffic.

Firefighters injured responding to fire at vacant Millville home
From the Press of Atlantic City Posted: Wednesday, January 7, 2015 7:00 am A fire at a vacant Millville home Tuesday night destroyed the property and left two firefighters with minor injuries, firefighters said. The Millville fire department was dispatched to the blaze near the corner of Oak and Third streets around 8:20 p.m. and crews worked for over six hours at the scene. Other than the firefighters, whose injuries are not considered serious, there was no one else injured, firefighters said. The fire destroyed the vacant home, but did not damage other nearby property. ATLANTIC CITY – Three firefighters were injured battling a blaze at an abandoned townhouse Thursday night and rescuing a woman believed to be squatting there, authorities said this morning.
