Fire Rescue News - Police investigating fire late Thursday in Hamilton Township townhome

Hamilton Township police said Friday they are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a townhouse in the Woodlands condominium complex.

Officers arrived at the home on Evergreen Court at about 10 p.m. Thursday to find it filled with heavy smoke and flames, police said. The residents were evacuated, and an 18-year-old female occupant was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus in Galloway Township, to be treated for a minor injury.......Continue Reading

Fire Rescue News - Overnight fire guts Hamilton Twp. townhouse; no injuries

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Fire gutted a townhouse in the Woodlands complex late Thursday night. No injuries were reported.

Fire-Rescue News - State trooper injured in rear-end collision on Route 54

A New Jersey state trooper suffered minor injuries Tuesday evening when someone rear-ended his patrol car while he investigated an accident on Route 54 in Buena Vista Township, State Police said.

The trooper, whose name was not released, responded to an accident on Route 54, just south of Weymouth Road, at 5:51 p.m. when his patrol car was hit from behind by a woman driving too fast for the snowy road conditions, according to the State Police Buena Vista station.

The trooper suffered neck and back injuries and was taken to South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland, where he was treated and released, police said. The driver, whose name was also not released, suffered minor leg injuries and was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

Fire-Rescue News - Wildwood Crest Fire Damages Apartment Complex this Afternoon

A four-unit apartment complex on Pacific Avenue in Wildwood Crest sustained heavy smoke and water damage from a Friday afternoon fire, Wildwood Crest police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police said the cause of the fire in the 5800 block of Pacific Avenue was unknown, but it may have originated on the first floor. The fire was not considered suspicious, police said.

The fire was reported at 12:06 p.m. Responding officers found heavy smoke billowing from the structure, police said.

The Wildwood Crest Fire Department extinguished the flames with the assistance of the Wildwood Fire Department.

Fire Rescue News - Woodbine House Destroyed By Fire

WOODBINE-- Authorities are investigating a fire that destroyed a Jefferson Avenue home on Wednesday, Feb 10, at 4:04 a.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire showing from the two story home.

No injuries were reported.

The Woodbine fire department responded to the scene with Dennis and Belleplain stations.
