Received a call for an activated fire alarm. Arrived on scene and determined that it was a false alarm. The owner self cleared the alarm prior to arrival. Inspected the system and placed it back online and cleared the scene.

Monday, February 02 2026 @ 06:22 am EST EVFC Incident #137 12/14/2018 at 11:53am - 3017 Reading Ave in Elwood for an illegal burn![]() All Mullica township fire departments were dispatched to 3017 Reading Ave for an illegal burn. Upon R16-2 arrival on scene, police advised R16-2 crew that they investigated and found that incident was not an illegal burn, instead it turned out to be smoke coming from a chimney. No further action was taken, all units cleared without incident. |
