Fire Rescue News- Two dead after early morning car accident
EGG HARBOR CITY -- Two men are dead after an accident in Egg Harbor City early Thursday morning.
It happened at 2:30 a.m. on Philadelphia Avenue, just north of Moss Mill Road.
Authorities say 21-year-old Kevin Jepson of Lower Bank, lost control of his Chevy Impala, crossed into the other lane, then crashed into several trees. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jepson's passenger, 23-year-old Christopher Keating Jr., of Egg Harbor City, was seriously injured and airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, for treatment. Authorities say he died Thursday afternoon.
The accident remains under investigation.
