Thompson said Mazer was traveling south on Nesco Road between Columbia Road and Moores Avenue in her minivan when it crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a vehicle driven by Judith Calderone head-on at about 5:40 p.m.

Judith and her husband, Joseph Calderone, of the Sweetwater section of Mullica Township, were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus in Atlantic City, for treatment of their injuries.

Their conditions were not available Monday as family members requested hospital officials not release information.
