Fire-Rescue News - FOUR DOGS DEAD AFTER HOUSE FIRE IN EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP
EGG HARBOR TWP. - Officials are investigating a house fire in Egg Harbor Township that left 4 dogs dead.
The fire broke out just after 5:30 Saturday on Shadow Drive in the Scullville section of the township.

the homeowner is away in South Carolina and family members were staying in the house.
The family left to go out to dinner and when they returned, they saw smoke and flames.
Assistant Fire Chief of the Scullville Volunteer Fire Company said because of the Firemen's Convention in Wildwood, they issued a second alarm for a universal call to all for assistance.
Officials say the fire was contained and put out within 15 minutes.
Four dogs within the house did not make it.
The Red Cross is temporarily providing housing for the family that was staying in the home.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
No people were reportedly inside or injured.
