Fire/Rescue News - CAR CRASHES INTO GALLOWAY BUILDING; LUCKILY NO ONE WAS INJURED
GALLOWAY TWP.--Luckily no one was injured when a car crashed into a medical supply building in Galloway Township Wednesday morning.
Officials say around 9:30 a.m. John Munton, 79, of Brigantine drove through the front of the Atlantic Medical Supply Store on the 300 block of Chris Gaupp Drive while parking his vehicle.
Munton and his 76-year-old wife were able to get out of the car and did not suffer any injuries, and witnesses say it's lucky no one was inside at the time, "We're just grateful because usually we have a room care specialist and he would be seeing patients this morning and they would be sitting waiting right inside that door. So thank god you know he scheduled to go to a meeting so there's nobody there."
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
