Overturn Occurs in Pomona

The Pomona Volunteer Fire Company Number Three of the Galloway Township Fire Department, in Atlantic County, responded to Route 30 and Pomona Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.

Upon arrival, an overturned SUV was found sitting next to a structure with a traffic light stanchion knocked over, with wires down. Pomona firefighters with assistance from Galloway EMS extricated the occupant who was then transported by SouthStar helicopter. The Galloway Police Department and Stockton College Police Department assisted at the scene.
