EVFC Incident #68 08/05/2021 at 8:01am - 2607 N Lakeview Dr in Nesco for a structure fire

IncidentsCalled for the report of a structure fire. Nesco arrived and found the inside of the refrigerator caught fire. Removed refrigerator and extinguished outside the house. Ventilated house with electric fan. Checked for extension with thermal camera. No extension found.

Incidents1600A and Tanker 16-5 investigated and found it to be a false alarm. System reset and all units were clear 7:55 am.

IncidentsProvided water shuttle operations. Dumped 4 loads of 3000 gallons of water. Provided manpower for fire extinguishment operations.

EVFC Incident #63 07/28/2021 at 12:32pm - 4042 W Adams Circle in Elwood for a Propane Grill Fire

IncidentsCaller stated gas tank caught on fire and believes propane is about to blow. On arrival found propane grill had a grease fire and fire was out on arrival. Homeowner had already turned off and removed propane bottle. No further action required. Recalled all other responding units.

EVFC Incident #62 07/27/2021 at 8:41am - 1318 Darmstadt Ave in Elwood for an Activated Fire Alarm

IncidentsCalled for an activated residential fire alarm. Tanker 16-5 arrived on location and found that it was a cooking incident. No fire. Confirmed false alarm. All other units were recalled.
