EVFC Incident #21 02/20/2025 at 6:41pm - 500 Locust St in Elwood for a Vehicle Fire Called for the report of a vehicle fire. updated by PD that it was a trailer Full of car parts fully involved 50 ft from structure. Command arrived and ordered Tanker16-5 to lay supply line and go in service with 2 1/2. Extinguished fire and overhauled. Notified state Fire Marshall to investigate, They will come out tomorrow. EVFC Incident #20 02/16/2025 at 5:34pm - 4923 Moss Mill Rd in Elwood for Tree on wiresTree took down wires. Rescue16-4 closed off Columbia and Moss Mill, Engine 16-3 closed 5th and Moss Mill. Stood by until county DOT closed the roads turned scene over to PD and DOT
EVFC Incident #19 02/16/2025 at 5:18am - 8 Cardinal Drive in Elwood for an Odor of GasReceived a call for a gas leak. Upon arriving on scene, there was a heavy skunk smell in close proximity of the house. Arriving units utilized gas meters and searched the house for leaks. No leaks were detected and all units cleared the scene.

EVFC Incident #17 02/08/2025 at 12:55pm - 317 Weymouth road, Homestead in Elwood for an Activated Fire AlarmSystem was in alarm, found nothing obvious that set it off. Reset system and it cleared.
EVFC Incident #16 02/05/2025 at 4:35pm - White Horse Pike and Wharton Park Blvd in Elwood for a motor vehicle accidentCalled for a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of White Horse Pike and Wharton Park Blvd. Cleared debris out of the roadway. Assisted PD with traffic until tow truck removed the vehicle from the roadway.
EVFC Incident #15 02/03/2025 at 6:38pm - Rt 30 west of snow hill in Elwood for an MVA with vehicle smokingCalled for MVA with vehicle smoking. Vehicle into pole and into woods. Arrived and found smoke was mostly steam, cut battery cables and stood by until electric company arrived |
