Received a call for a carbon monoxide alarm. 1602 Arrived on scene and notified dispatch to contact the gas company. Egg Harbor Engine 10-1 on scene, had readings of 40ppm as soon as they entered house, homeowner stated she turned oven on 10 min prior to alarm going off, was first time she used new stove, isolated source of CO to oven, had 400ppm at vent of oven, shut gas off to stove and unplugged it, ventilated house and confirmed no CO from other appliances in house. Occupant was complaining of headaches and the on scene EMT provided assistance.Comments (0)
