Station 160 was dispatched to Darmstadt ave and Duerer St to investigate the sighting of smoke. Upon arrival, 1600A identified the source of smoke. A residence at 901 Darmstadt ave was cutting scrap metal with a torch and accidentally started a small fire. Forest fire on location extinguished the fire. No further action was taken.
