Station 160,161,162, and 163 was dispatched to a residence for a structure fire due to a lighting strike. Upon arrival, two structures, a house and a garage, were discovered to have been stuck by lighting. Smoke was coming out of the garage. Checked both structures with a camera for any fire extension. No fire was discovered and the smoke dissipated after venting. Had Atlantic City electric shut off electric at pole for both structures. Advised occupants to not stay in home until the electrical work is deem safe by a certified electrician. No further action was taken. All units cleared without incident.Comments (0)
