The fire stated Friday evening on Pennsylvania Avenue in the Dorothy section of the township, when an attic ceiling fan overheated, igniting nearby insulation. Firefighters entered the attic through a closet crawlspace and using pressurized water-cans, extinguished the fire. After checking for any left-over hot spots, the scene was cleared.
