this home as they were driving by.

The owner was trying to put it out herself.

Dave Jones Jr. who rescued the fire victim said, "I heard her yelling fire and I went in there and she was in a wheelchair and she didn't want to move so I just grabbed her and pushed her out."

Inside was a growing fire.
And while both men came to the rescue, the other remained outside, calling for help.

"She still wanted to go back in the house she didn't want her house to burn down," expressed Bernie Sawasky.

Fire victim Beth Manne said, "I would have stayed probably to the very end and I would have had probably a lot more problems then this."

Unfortunately the home is a total loss
But NBC 40 learned that multiple fire crews arrived within a matter of minutes and did what they could. Now the fire is under investigation.

Galloway Township Fire Chief Ronal Garbutt said "Right now we're looking at an accidental cause we're not looking at anything suspicious we have an area of origin and what we think is in the kitchen area of the house and we are trying to determine what in that area caused the fire."

Because the fire victim is in a wheelchair, she was worried about finding a place to stay ...thanks to the Red Cross that's no longer a problem.

American Red Cross worker Art Masker said, "Due to the inundated amount of hotels and usage we had to relocate her to another hotel that is a little bit further out of town but they are handicapped accessible and able to keep her there for the time we need."

As for the good Samaritans, this story definitely had a positive ending.

"You can rebuild a house but you cant get a life back all in a days work, a tag team effort," said Dave.
