MAYS LANDING -- A car fire in Mays Landing Friday night shut down a major roadway and backed up traffic for quite some time.
This is cell phone video of the incident, which occurred just after 8:30 p.m. on the Black Horse Pike and McKee Ave.
Police and firefighters arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed, although crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze. The driver was able to escape without injury.
The Black Horse Pike was closed for approximately 45 minutes due to the incident, which is still under investigation.
