A Somers Point man was airlifted to the hospital Thursday afternoon after a car crossed the center line and hit his vehicle on Ocean Heights Avenue in Hamilton Township, police said.

the center line near milepost 7.5 and struck an eastbound car driven by David Anderson, 35, of Somers Point, police said.The Cologne and Mays Landing Fire Departments extricated Anderson from his vehicle, and he was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, city campus, police said.
The Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad and medics from AtlantiCare also responded.
