Fire Rescue News - Car overturns near Exit 28 on expressway; no one hurt

There were only minor injuries and no traffic delays Thursday evening when a vehicle overturned on the Atlantic City Expressway near Exit 28 in Hammonton, State Police said.

One vehicle sideswiped another in the westbound lanes at about 5 p.m., according to State Police, Expressway Station. One of the drivers managed to get to the shoulder, but the other lost control and the vehicle overturned onto the center median.

The passenger in the overturned vehicle suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, and the driver refused treatment, police said. No lanes of traffic were closed.
